GENERAL INFORMATION

The Rangitikei River Race is ideal preparation for the Coast to Coast, Goldrush etc
The Rangitikei River is a scenic river graded 1-2
Approved Buoyancy Aid(6.2kg) and Helmets MUST be worn
Competitors must be competent Grade II Certificate paddlers
Accommodation - Camping grounds are available at Mangaweka & Vinegar Hill (finish), pkus there is numerous options of self-contained accommodation throughout the area.

REGISTRATION
From 8.00am, Utiku Gravel Pit, Toe Toe Road, off State Highway One. Race briefing 9.30am
Entry Fee $30 Cheques payable to: 'Rangitikei River Kayak Race'

SHUTTLE SERVICE
(Before the Race)
A shuttle bus will run from Vinegar Hill at 9am back to the start. Drop your kayak off at the start (Utiku) and drive your car to the finish (Vinegar Hill), the bus will return you to the start. Cost $5 (pay bus driver). Please contact The River Centre to book this service. Ph 06-3825744, email: info@rra.co.nz Allow at least 1 hour for this.
