This is our premier product, combining New Zealand’s best Whitewater Rafting with a journey into the spectacular Mokai Gorge. A real Kiwi adventure.

Day one
We meet at The River Centre at 8am. Over morning coffee or tea, we discuss the trip and sort our gear into drybags, before heading off to the put-in. After a beautiful Taihape hill country drive, we arrive at the put-in to pack the rafts with the gear and divide into our crews. Your guides will give you full instruction on paddling technique and rafting safety. Our trip starts out mellow in spectacular surroundings, the rapids gaining intensity toward the end of the day.

Day two
A hearty breakfast and time to let it settle down this morning before attacking New Zealands best Grade 5 Whitewater. The rapids are intense throughout the morning and begin to ease around lunchtime. If theres time we get to explore the spectacular Ohutu Falls during lunch before rafting off down to the takeout, at the end of a spectacular river canyon.
