Friday night, Start at The
Logs, self-contained log cabin in the township. If you
need something for dinner...try the pub - great burgers!
Next morning, breakfast at
The River Centre Cafe, before driving
out towards Mokai. On the way, check out the view at Mokai
Gravity Cyn..and if you are up for it, have jump or a fox
- nothing will clear your head faster!
Arrive at Tarata Fishaways,
where the Tree House is waiting! Magnificent views of the
Rangitikei River (look to the left..that is it amoungst the
trees). Enjoy the the spa pool, try your luck with the mini
putt - hit the mini and get a prize.. That night enjoy a 3
course meal and a glass of wine.
Next morning, after your continetal
breakfast, gear up for a spectacular rafting
trip, which will pass by location spots from Lord of
the Rings. Lunch is on the river. Your car and gear will
be back at The River Centre, where you get some afternoon
tea before heading off.
